The Sagittarius Full Moon is exact at 1:45am PDT this morning.  This is the lunation of higher ideals, intellectual and educational expansion, seeking truth from chaos, and, in the spirit of one of my favorite things to teach, learning how to discipline your thoughts.  The Sun is in Gemini and close enough to Uranus for them to be vibing each other up (8° orb).  Chaos is certainly a watchword of the day, even more so now that Uranus, the inventor of chaos, is in the sign of perceptions, ideas, and the sharing of them.  A scattered mind and seeing the world through old eyes are all up for review.  This is a Full Moon that allows us to survey our mental landscape and prune away the wild overgrowth of overthinking and decision paralysis.

With the Sun in a Conjunction to Uranus, our conscious awareness will be surprising the shit out of us, as it does with every passing day.  But over in the lunar camp, there is close proximity between the Moon and Black Moon Lilith.  It’s a 9° orb, so not an actual Conjunction, but close enough for BML to be coaching us from the sidelines.  After many months of shadow work, we have a release moment exactly where we do the work to create impact.  Hidden places in our psyche, such as shame, inform our perceptions more than conscious awareness.  This is why we do this kind of self-investigation, and this Full Moon includes the courage to face the mythology you have authored about your life and rewrite it.

Saturn spent all of last year, and much of this one, in an elongated Conjunction with Neptune, demanding that we learn how to drop into Neptune’s unconscious and the dream world with more skill.  Saturn is just 8° ahead of Neptune, so this is the last moment they are close enough to still be talking about this, and the Moon will Trine the midpoint between them.  Saturn is always asking us to dig deep and find the grit needed to do the hard work, both internally and in the outside world.  While Jupiter rules this Full Moon, Saturn has been guiding the wisdom in each of us to rise up, and integrate the capacity to see your life through new eyes.  This Full Moon allows our talk to become more authentic to match the way we are walking, with some help to shift how we’re walking, in case that needs adjustment too.

Jupiter rules this Full Moon, and Jupiter himself is in Cancer, a sign he is exalted in, so the arbiter of abundance is feeling generous right now.  But the Moon hits Jupiter with a Sesqui-Square, so there’s some agitation connected to the things you want to create or manifest.  Focus on the big release necessary before calling in new cash and prizes, and trust that the more you purge, the more internal room you will have for the higher consciousness that is being uploaded into the system.  The Square between Venus and Saturn from the other day is still helping us keep our hearts stable and favor diplomacy over impulse, so trust what you are building.

Neptune and Pluto are in a Sextile.  Neptune brings ideologies and inspiration, and Pluto allows for the death and rebirth necessary to profoundly change yourself and the world.  Sextiles are productive, like a motor.  Inconjuncts assist us in making reasonable changes over time that go just as deep, but unfold at a slower pace that feels guided by larger forces.  Both are in an Inconjunct with the South Node, the septic tank that holds the past till we can pause to release its detritus.  This pattern is called a Finger of God (Fate) and has been playing out all month.  While all Full Moons have this capacity for letting go of the past, this one is that on crack.

Chiron is poised at the final, anaretic degree of Aries, the sign he has been in since 2008.   We have been healing with fire since then.  He has just entered the 30th degree of this energetic sign, which means he is about to enter Taurus in June.  Just as the outers and Saturn impacted the collective by changing signs in such close proximity, this includes Chiron as well.  There are astrologers who imagine Chiron the interloper (he’s not from here) to be less impactful than planets, but not in my world.  This Full Moon also lets us know that as we become more willing to see the world in a new way, we enter a new chapter of healing and mastering the mystery.  When Chiron moves into Venus-ruled Taurus, our healing and mastery will be more connected to the Great Mother, the Earth herself.

So as hinted above, all the lessons, shadow work, and radical responsibility of the past months will impact how we walk our walk from here on out.  The Gemini Moon is helping us refine our talk, and an Inconjunct from the Full Moon to Mars is funneling our new thinking and perception directly into our embodiment.  We can alter both how we see the horizon, and how we walk toward it.  The real gift here is not a sudden insight or revelation, but a change in relationship to your own mind.

Sagittarius seeks truth, while Gemini gathers information, and this Full Moon helps us separate wisdom from noise.  Some beliefs are ready to be released.  Some stories have run their course.  Some ways of interpreting your life no longer fit the person you have become.  The world remains chaotic, and there is little indication that will change any time soon.  But your relationship to that chaos can change.  Prune back the thoughts that keep you trapped in yesterday’s perceptions.  Let go of explanations that no longer serve your growth.  Then take the next step forward with greater clarity, knowing that the horizon ahead is not asking you to be certain. It is only asking you to keep moving.  Have at it.
